Downer Decor

I think the worst part of Christmas is taking down the decorations.  Not because taking down the decorations is messy and time consuming (Josh said to me "Will taking down the decorations be as easy as putting them up"...we can tell who did most of the decorating, wink wink ) but because without them your house feels less magical, lonely and bare.   All the joy Christmas brings is put into totes, packed in the attic and forgotten until the next Christmas.  I have only just begun putting things into their yearly home and already I am feeling the "blue" part of Christmas.
